This hands-on experience, combined with over 20 years of working alongside neurodiverse young people, forms the foundation of my approach. This journey has led me to found AMF Affinity.

My professional journey includes leading a specialist provision within a mainstream school and providing outreach support across an outer London Local Authority. While I hold formal qualifications, including an MA in Autism and Education, I believe that real understanding comes from genuine connection and listening to those we support. My understanding of the Polyvagal Theory has deepened my approach to supporting emotional regulation and anxiety, recognising how our nervous system shapes our responses to the world around us.

The blend of lived experience, professional practice, and evidence-based knowledge allows me to offer support that is both grounded in research and deeply personal. I understand that every individual's journey is unique, and I am committed to providing guidance that recognises and celebrates the individual while supporting the development of regulation strategies that work for each person. My mission is to work in collaboration, so that children, young people, and those around them have a greater sense of understanding.
